If you're sharing in worship life here, you're already part of the St. Paul family. We're a congregation of disciples who share the Good News of Jesus Christ by loving and serving all — and that includes you, right now. But it is our hope that when you decide to make it official and enter into membership, you will have become so active in the life and mission of the congregation that, as you stand to affirm your baptism or are transferring your membership from a previous church (both ways make it official) someone sitting in the congregation will have the thought, "Wait a second, I thought ___ was already a member!"
When you're ready to take that step or have those conversations, filling out a New Member Information Form is how you let us know. You can fill it out online right here by clicking NEW MEMBER FORM (please fill out one for each person in your family so we have all of your information for our database) or pick one up at the Welcome Station in the Narthex after worship and return it to the church office. Either way, it's what tells our pastor and church council that you've reached that point in your discernment.
Once your form reaches the church council, they'll affirm you in your decision and hold you in prayer as our pastoral staff and Evangelism Committee work with you to find the best date to make affirmation of your baptism or talk with you about being baptized. Also, be on the look out for New Member / Newcomer Dinners.  They are meant to help you in your discernment as they provide great ways to learn more about how we live out our mission to share Jesus by loving and serving all.  Questions anywhere along the way?
